Financial freedom is really a mind problem and a math problem. It obviously helps if you make more money, but what is more important is whether you have the desire and discipline to save and invest over time.

Many of our clients came to us right after graduating from college. In fact, we recommend the younger you are, the easier our process will be because you haven’t had the time to make the same mistakes that almost everyone else will make in their life.

It is possible to attain your financial freedom but our principal choice of investing is in the stock and bond markets. If you are highly risk averse, there are strategies that we can employ, but if even the slightest risk of loss will make you nervous, we likely won’t recommend you become a client.

No, it isn’t necessary, but you do need to have the open-mindedness to learn the basics over time. This is where the initial few years are so important, as you'll have quarterly calls with your advisor so that you can learn those basics over time.

By its very nature, there will always be risk when it comes to investing. So we cannot make any guarantees, but we can say that you have a higher likelihood of reaching your goals if you follow our system.

Some people will have the habits, but most won’t. Very few individuals will be able to save and invest large portions of their incomes without outside help given how drastic that move is. The more coachable you are, the easier that change of habits will be.

Although we see certain advantages to decentralized finance and particularly blockchain technology, we consider cryptocurrency a speculation and not an investment. Those interested in trading cryptocurrency very simply lack the emotional maturity and discipline it takes to be a long term investor. It is very unlikely, therefore, that ConCap® would be a good fit for you.

That depends really on whether you want to invest the time to develop the same expertise that a financial advisor has. That said, not all financial advisors are the same. The financial advising industry has a very bad rap and for good reason. There are, unfortunately, very few advisors that will actually put in the work to perfect their craft. Most are glorified salespeople. We are hoping that we are an exception here at ConCap®.

If you feel like you can get better results on your own and are willing to spend the time to become an expert, then it doesn’t make sense to pay for a financial advisor. Most people who come to ConCap® though are perfectly fine delegating this task to a professional for a fee, so that they can have the time to do what they want to in life.

A financial plan is a requirement for every new client. There is no exception here. Without a roadmap, you are almost guaranteed to fail.

Your initial meeting with us is an opportunity for us to discuss your financial goals and particularly your motivation to attain your financial freedom. There is no fee or obligation associated with this consultation. Another incidental goal is also getting to know each other to ensure our working styles will be a good fit. • Most recent income tax return(s)
• Estate planning documents (if applicable)
• Existing Life Insurance and Long Term Care Insurance policy information

We do not house any client assets ourselves. Our primary custodian is Interactive Brokers®. You will have access to your investment accounts through our client portal.

A cursory examination of financial history will show that some of the least ethical industries out there include the financial services industry. We firmly believe that we need more and more ethical advisors who are fiduciaries and that there is a desperate need to weed out all others who are essentially salespeople at the best case and outright con-persons at the worst case. If you are not looking for comprehensive financial advising, our recommendation would be for you to go to a traditional financial advisor. We are really only interested in clients who have a dream or vision as a key motivator in their life that they would like to achieve by intentionally using financial assets. In our view, if you are a client, you must have a dream, or you don’t get in.

Initially, most clients will meet with their advisor once a quarter as they first need to develop the right habits, which can take several years. After that initial period, it can be at a minimum of once a year
